These summer mini sessions are designed to be simple, soulful, and stunning. Whether you're looking to update your family portraits, celebrate a special bond with a Mommy & Me moment, capture sweet couple photos, or gift yourself a set of solo portraits, these sessions offer a relaxed, golden-hour experience that lets your story shine.
You’ll be welcomed to a peaceful waterfront setting with a styled picnic blanket and the glow of sunset as your backdrop. This is a chance to embrace summer’s slower pace and capture real connection, the kind that lives in laughter, hand squeezes, and unspoken glances.
Your Mini Session Includes:
- 20-minute beachside portrait session
- 10 professionally edited high-resolution images
- Online gallery with digital download
- Option to purchase additional images (1, 5, or full gallery)
Price: $225 + tax
A $100 retainer is due at booking to reserve your slot.
What should we wear?

I recommend light, summery tones that complement the beach setting — soft neutrals, pastel shades, or warm colors like coral, cream, sage, or dusty blue. Avoid logos or busy patterns. Barefoot is welcome, and flowing dresses, linen textures, and simple outfits work beautifully in the breeze and sunset light.
Where are the sessions held?

Sessions take place at a beach in Des Moines, Washington, near the South Marina area. Exact location will be sent via email after booking.
When should we arrive?

Please plan to arrive 10–15 minutes early to find parking, walk to the session spot, and settle in. Sessions are timed around the setting sun, and late arrivals may result in shortened session time.
What if the weather is bad?

In case of rain or poor conditions, I’ll reach out to reschedule your session or offer credit toward a future shoot. Summer weather is usually cooperative, but I always monitor the forecast closely.
How many images do I get?

Your booking includes 10 high-resolution edited images of your choosing from an online gallery. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional photos individually, in bundles of 5, or the full gallery.
